Day 14

Gratefully receiving our clean and neatly folded washing we enquired about where to buy the maps we were missing of Kazakhstan, our friend and guide Alex assured us not to worry as he would sort it for us. Two hours later after an epic morning Frisbee session with a local Ukrainian boy they miraculously re-materialised with two great detailed maps and then whisked us away for a stock replenishing shopping trip. After a makeshift lunch of salami and cheese sandwiches an energetic kick-about ensued with a very enthusiastic nurse, which eventually drew to a close when we remembered that Burt had a plane to catch. On getting to the Airport we all made good use of the facilities and said our tearful goodbyes to Burt. Braving the hectic rush-hour traffic once more we headed out of Kiev.
