Rather uneventful day, after roughly 9 hours driving we set up camp in the middle of nowhere only to find the place heaving with mosquitoes. While Jeremy wandered off numerous times for rural turds due to a dodgy stomach, we began preparing our meal. Our main entertainment consisted of swatting mosquitoes with anything of close proximity, Joe preferring the hand towel and Hugh the Buff whilst Jeremy found the weight of the pressure cooker instruction manual particularly satisfying. Settled down with a salami and pasta stew and the last episode of ‘Southland’ (A Crime drama series) to find it ending on a cliff hanger… And we do not have the next series. We nervously went to sleep awaiting the inevitable man flesh buffet that the mosquitoes were about to enjoy.
