Day 8

Stocked up on essentials (football and beer) at nearby Tesco (even though they annoyingly didn’t accept Burt’s clubcard) before queuing for dubiously essential paperwork and sailing across the Romanian border by baffling the guard with our destination. Our initial less favourable impression of Romania was corrected when outside the towns and cities on the way to Cluj-Napoca in the rolling lush green countryside. Ended up at dodgy truck services near Luncani for mystery meat stew.
