Day 7

In true rally spirit we spent the morning in Debenhams, M&S and Budapest’s thermal baths enjoying rapidly varying our body temperatures in the saunas and plunge pools before a dicey drive to Eger on the incredibly windy ‘scenic route’ in monsoon-esque thunder and lightening. Sausage and potato stew at Polgar services balanced slightly dampened spirits thanks to unrelenting rain.
